PRESCHOOL for AGES 3 and 4 The preschool classes for three and four year olds schedule age-level appropriate activities for children which encourage their physical, social and emotional development and their readiness for learning. Skills developed include: social skills, large and small motor skills, classifying and sorting, listening and language. Other skills addressed are self awareness, musical, health and safety and following directions. Children register for a school year and classes remain the same throughout the year.
A child must be 3 years old by September 1 to enroll in the 3 year old Preschool class and 4 years by September 1 for enrollment in the 4 year old Preschool.
MAXIMUM CLASS SIZE: 14 children with 2 teachers
CLASSES AND TIMES: Tuesday and Thursday or Wednesday and Friday. All classes are from 9:15 A.M. to 2:45 P.M.
It is the declared purpose and policy of the Oklahoma Child Care Facilities Licensing Act to ensure maintenance of minimum standards for the care and protection of children away from their own homes, to encourage and assist the child care facility in attaining maximum standards, and to work for the development of sufficient and adequate services for child care.
An amendment to the above Licensing Act was made in the Fall of 1995 requiring all part-time child care facilities providing supervision for eight or more children operating for more than 15 but less than 30 hours per week to be licensed by the State of Oklahoma.
MOTHER’S DAY OUT for AGES 6 months to 3 years Mother’s Day Out provides quality, nurturing childcare and structures age level appropriate activities and play for children. Fall registration is for a school year with additional registration necessary for summer classes. Classes that are not at full capacity are open on a drop-in basis throughout the year.
Children can enroll for one or more days a week. Mother's Day Out is held Tuesday through Friday from 9:15 to 2:45 each day.

Families who are members of First Christian Church are given priority to register for openings in the programs followed by families who have previously been enrolled.
