Early Childhood Neighborhood (ECN) Parent Handbook
ARRIVAL and DISMISSAL
The day starts at 9:15 am and ends at 2:45 pm. A sign-in sheet is available in each classroom. Whoever delivers your child to the ECN is expected to sign each child in and out daily. Click here for the detailed daily schedule.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have your children in our program during class hours. However, we cannot provide the proper care and supervision for them earlier than 9:15 a.m. or later than 2:45 p.m. Here’s why:
* Before 9:15, our teachers prepare for the day, gather last-minute supplies, arrange the classroom, and get ready to greet each child with a smile.
* After 2:45, they straighten up the room and then attend to their other responsibilities. Many of them have children coming home from school, too.
* Most of all, your child has had a long, eventful day and is ready for you to come hear all about it. Besides, being the last one left is sometimes a disappointment.
NOTE: Additional fees may be charged at the director’s discretion in the event of repeated late pick-up or early arrival.
